Meet the Innkeepers

Longswamp Bed and Breakfast is a multi-generational, family-owned-and-operated business. We got our start in Uniontown, which is a small city southeast of Pittsburgh. Most of us are HUGE fans of all the Pittsburgh sports teams, but we do have a few Philly fans amongt us. In the early 1970s, we relocated to a little town east of Lancaster, known as Gap. This area quickly became our home, and we fell in love with the people and the simple way of life there. In the mid-1980s, a job transfer moved our family to Macungie, and we’ve been here ever since.

As a family, we have always enjoyed history, spending time in nature, and being with one another. When the opportunity arose to purchase Longswamp Bed and Breakfast, it was truly a perfect combination of the things we most enjoy. It was an opportunity that came along at just the right time, and we feel so blessed to share our special “slice of heaven on Earth” with everyone who walks through our doors.
